NEPSAC AA+ Top 10

Rene Castro: Dropped 34 & 35 in 2 NPSI games
 Big Double-A Slate this Wednesday
1) Tilton (21-3) - With Wayne Selden out with an ankle injury, the Rams won easily yesterday (66-48) over REDA Academy out Canada at the NPSI.  Big Class AA match-up on Wednesday as the Tilt plays on the road at Kimball Union.

2) St Marks (17-2) - The Lions won 79-56 over Thayer Academy on Saturday afternoon for their 17th victory of the season.  They'll face St Sebastians and Governor's Academy this week.

3) Wilbraham and Monson (17-5) - Lost decisively to Notre Dame Prep on Thursday.  Then, yesterday morning, the Titans avenged an early season loss to Winchendon, winning by 1-point on a 25-foot running buzzer-beater by Jaylen Brantley.  Three-game week ahead as WMA plays on the road against Vermont Academy on Wednesday before hosting Chesire Academy & Worcester Academy on Friday & Saturday.

4) Kimball Union (15-3) - Jesse Chuku finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds and Rick Naylor added 18 as KUA won 79-57 at home over Brimmer and May on Saturday afternoon.  The Wildcats will get a shot at the belt this Wednesday as they host Tilton.

5) Cushing Academy (14-5) - Got two dubs at the National Prep School Invitational, beating the Phelps School (PA) 74-52 on Thursday and topping New Hope (MD) 77-70 on Saturday.  The Penguins will play Proctor Academy and the Masters School this week.

6) St Andrews (16-5) - Won impressively over Maine Central Institute on Sunday at the National Prep School Invitational.

7) Vermont Academy (13-8) - Lost to Winchendon on Friday night before coming back on Saturday to get a win over REDA Prep.  Big one coming up on Wednesday as Jesse Bopp's will host WMA.

8) Putnam Science (14-7) - After losing big to Brewster Academy last Wednesday, the Mustangs rebounded with a 70-32 win over Proctor Academy over the weekend.

9) Worcester Academy (10-9) - The Hilltoppers earned a 77-70 win over Phelphs (PA) on Friday behind a 34-point eruption from junior Rene Castro and 16 from senior Olivier Paul-Betu.  Then on Sunday, they came up just short against New Hope (MD), losing by a final of 77-73 in which Castro went off again, this time for 35.  Next up for WA will be Phillips Exeter on Wednesday and then WMA on Saturday.

10) Marianapolis (9-12) - Lost on Saturday to St Johns NW Military Academy out of Wisconsin.  MP gets back at it on Wednesday when they'll play St Andrews on the road.

10) Hotchkiss (7-8) - Fred Benjamin's squad has now won six in a row since losing to South Kent on January 11th.  They'll play Canterbury on Wednesday and Berkshire Academy on Friday as they continue on their quest to get back into the Double-A Mix.
