Hoops Season Never Ends
- The Beantown Hoops Fall Shootout went down today at Medford High School and the action did not disapoint. It came down to a Final Four of New Mission, King Philip, Acton-Boxborough, and St Johns Preps. New Mission clipped King Philip in OT and St Johns Prep beat A-B by about 15 to make it an SJP/New Mission Final, a match-up of the D1 & D2 defending Massachusetts State Champions. It was a tight one 'til the finish and in the end, it was seniors Steve Haladyna, Mike Carbone, and Freddy Shore who helped SJP pull out a 4 point win to claim the 2011 Beantown Hoops Fall Shootout Championship.
