Anthony Barry commits to Merrimack

Merrimack-bound Anthony Barry
Milford Native Barry earns full-boat
- Earlier today, Brooks School swing-man Anthony Barry committed to Merrimack College, accepting a full athletic scholarship to play for Coach Bert Hammel in the NE-10.  After having him for three years in his late father's and now his Middlesex Magic AAU Program, Mike Crotty Jr said the following in regard to Barry's commitment, "This is a great situation for Anthony...his strength, length, and athleticism will allow him to be a lock down defender for the Warriors and his scoring ability will really translate well in the NE-10."  Crotty continued, "Since we've had him, his maturity and development as a player have been remarkable, & Anthony is one of the hardest working people I have had the chance to coach.  Off the court he is a fantastic person who I'm thrilled to have had the chance to work with.  I am very proud of Anthony & excited for his very future."

Congratulations to Barry and chalk up another scholly for Native NE.
