- Last night, as first reported by Adam Finkelstein, New Hampton point guard Olivier Hanlan committed to Boston College. Hanlan is a native of Canada and ran with the Albany City Rocks on the AAU circuit. This is a huge get for BC as Hanlan is a guy who is playing at a very high level right now and has a vaulted-ceiling going forward. This could also be the recruit that opens up the doors of New England for BC head coach Steve Donahue? We shall see...
- Olivier Hanlan wasn't the only name which came off the board last night on the western shores of Winnipesaukee. In addition, down the road from New Hampton at the Tilton School, sharp-shooter Kevin Crescenzi of Florida committed to Dartmouth.
- Also last night, former West Roxbury guard Roger Paul arrived at Notre Dame Prep, where he is now officially a post-grad student. Paul gives ND Prep head coach Ryan Hurd yet another dangerous back-court player to go along with Sam Cassell Jr, Myles Davis, Adonis Filer, and Jamie Holder.
