Tennesse offers Kaleb Joseph

Hot as a Christmas Radiator
Cuonzo Martin Martin drops invite on KJ
- There can't be too many basketball prospects in America hotter right now than Cushing Academy sophomore combo guard Kaleb Joseph.  It has been a whirlwind last-35 days for sure.  Late in August, KJ was one of many young guards across the country labeled as talented but in need of developing an identity as a player.  Well, Kaleb Joseph is proof that in terms of the eyes of college basketball coaches and the potential they see, the formation of this identity can occur in the matter of an afternoon.  At the BC Prospect in late August, Joseph absolutely exploded, exhibiting frequent flashes of his big time combination of length, speed, athleticism, explosiveness, and fluidity.  Soon after the camp, the offers began to arrive, and they haven't stopped as a parade of coaches have descended up on Ashburnham this fall and came away impressed after watching Joseph play.

Tonight, Kaleb received his third high major invite after he was offered by Tennessee Head Coach Cuonzo Martin, who was at Cushing today to watch a work out.  Tennessee joins Boston College and TCU as high majors to offer Joseph, who also holds offers from Western Kentucky, Delaware, UNH, St Bonaventure, and Fordham.  Look for KJ to pick up a few more offers this week before the fall open period closes up shop.  Joseph will make his first New England public-playing appearance since the BC Camp next weekend with the Mass Rivals at the Basketbull Columbus Day Challenge in Springfield.
