Brewster & Tilton set for showdown

Brewster Invitational Semifinals
- In the first semifinal last night, Brewster absolutely walloped Maine Central Institute by a score of 84-49 to cruise into this afternoon's final.  Jakarr Sampson led the way for Brewster with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Also for Brewster, Semaj Christon had 12 points, 7 assists, 4 steals, Jalen Reynolds had 12 points and 10 boards, Mitch McGary had 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Joe Bramanti scored 10...In the second semi, Georges Niang had another 30+ point game and Goodluck Okonoboh added 17 as Tilton took out Notre Dame Prep by a score of 82-57...What we have on our hands now is a monster match-up in the Brewster Invitational Championship Game between the #1 and #5 teams in the Five-Star National High School Rankings.  The Lake Winnipesaukee Brawl kicks of at 4:00pm.  We'll be in the house.  Follow @Hooprootz on Twitter for live updates from Wolfeboro.
