| Expect a monster senior season from Matt Droney |
Knights on the hunt
- Dennis Tobin's squad at Catholic Memorial HS is another Catholic
Conference team with a shot to make a run at the Big Trophy. Leading
the way for the Knights will be left-handed gun-sling slasher Matt Droney, a high-IQ senior wing who saves his best performances for big
games. Complimenting Droney on the wing will be senior Dan Powers,
another player who can fill it up from long range and put points up in a
hurry. At the point for CM will be talented sophomore Aahmanee Santos,
a cat-quick floor general who likes to attack off the bounce. And in
terms of big fellas, Tobin has one of the biggest guys around in
sophomore Gerard Adams, a 6'8 Goliath with good hands who is light on
his feet. Could this be the year that CM returns to the Garden?
