State of the Union Address: MIAA Central Mass

Matt Mobley: Makin' name for himself
Central Mass Super Seven headin' into Christmas

1) Holy Name (4-0) - Senior scoring guard Tyler Delorey and Holy Name have sprinted away from the pack early with 4 straight wins to start the season. Impressive victories over Eastie & Whitinsville Christian.

2) St. Peter-Marian (3-1) - Senior combo guard Matt Mobley in one of the top athletes in the State and SPM has some nice pieces around him.

3) St John’s (Shrewsbury) (3-1) - Lost their opener to Brockton, but Matt Palecki and Kenny Harrington have led SJS back with 3 straight wins as they ready for their 2012 Cup Run.


4) Fitchburg (1-0) - The under-the-radar senior duo of speed-demon guard Quinton Perkins and strong-bodied swing-man Abi Akanni has Fitchburg ready for a serious run.

5) Milford (3-0) - Nice start for the home of Mass Little League Heaven.  Big opening night win at Wellesley.

6) Wachusett (5-0) - Nice 5-game winning streak to start the season with work-horse big Tim Sheridan leading the way.
 
7) Whitinsville Christian (1-1) - Junior lead guard Colin Richey leads a no-nonsense D3 contender out on the trail.
