AAU Super Showcase Update - Orlando

A Human Day for New England

- After cruising to a easy win in the semifinals early this morning, BABC went up against Ty Lawson Team Takeover in the Final of the 15u AAU Super Showcase.  Although BABC led the majority of the game, TT put together a tremendous 4th quarter to pull out a six point win over BABC to capture the Super Showcase Title.

-  The BABC Juniors got going today in the Gold Pool of the 17u AAU Super Showcase.  According to the the AAU website, BABC defeated the Charlotte Royals in Game 1 before proving they were human and falling to the Ohio Shooting Stars in Game 2.  Not to worry.  They still control their own destiny in terms of advancing to bracket play and going after the Chip.


Also from the Showcase...


- Metro Boston 17s went 1-1, falling to Basic 1st and taking down the FCI Warriors...Tevin Falzon reportedly played very well in the morning game and had a monster two hand put-back dunk off a back-rim miss.


- Boston Warriors Blue streaked out to a 2-0 start in Pool AA with wins over Team Treasure Coast and the Columbia Ravens.  Kachi Nzerem averaged 24 points on the day.
