Team LOX Does Damage in the Garden State

Team LOX Takes Chip in Jersey

Eastie/Westie Players Join Forces on LOX
- Boston's Team LOX headed South this weekend to compete in the Slamma Jamma Tournament in Clifton, New Jersey.  They won both of their pool-play games, defeating the New Jersey Panthers and the Baldwin Blue Devils from New York, to win their pool and earn a bye in the first-round of Bracket Play.  They then beat the Montreal Dragons in the Final-Four and the Baldwin Blue Devils again in the Final to capture the Slamma Jamma Championship.

LOX was led all weekend by Tournament MVP Roger Paul from West Roxbury.  Paul played at a high level all weekend, getting to the rim consistently and he threw down a number of emphatic dunks.  Also carrying the scoring burden for LOX were Jeff Amazon and Walter Lewis from Eastie, who pt p points consistently in all four games.  Also critical in the LOX Championship-Runun was the rebounding of Westie's Jason Hall and Eastie's Zach Gattereau, who were both playing out of position, the crafty/savvy play of 2015 combo-guard Juwan Gooding, and the leadership and game-management skills of Team Captain Doug Kriz from Ipswich.  Team LOX is currently planning to next take the floor at Big Shots DC.  We'll keep you updated.
