- There was a heavy scent of NE 10 & Patriot League coaches in the gym for this one as the Middlesex Magic and Maine Mac went at in a Bronze Bracket Sweet 16 game down in Orlando. The match-up between these two New England squads was as tight as expected, but in the end, the Middlesex Magic were able to claw out a 68-67 win to advance to the Elite 8 later today where they will take on Dayton Metro.Once again, Connor Mahoney led the charge for the Magic, chalking up 17 points and 10 rebounds.
