- With names like Brandon Ashley, Aaron Gordon, Dominic Artis, Jabari Bird, the T-Robinson twins, and Isaac Hamilton, the Oakland Soldiers Roster is a 'Who's Who" of most National Rankings.  Maybe BABC was annoyed by that, because they did not let the Soldiers play in a basketball game against them.  Instead, BABC imposed it's will on Oaktown and left them trying to pick up loose change all day in an panicked-attempt to mount a comeback.  No chance.  BABC's lead in this game was under double-digits for all of about the first 2 minutes of the game.
With the win, BABC advances to tonight final where they will square off against the one team who has beaten them in 2011...Memphis YOMCA...The game will be on ESPNU at 7pm...Friday Night Lights Baby...

Game Notes
- Regardless of what he does in the future, Nerlens will go down as perhaps the best shot-blocker in the history of grassroots basketball.  Think about that statement while you sip your cocktail.  In his match-up with 2012 ESPN #3 ranked Brandon Ashley, Noel completed dominated him like he was still at Everett HS playing against Waltham.  Noel's line...12 points - 10 rebounds - 11 blocks (that's haunted house sh*t).  Julius Randle and Jabari Parker have no bigger fans than the Spaceship, but let's get serious, in terms of who is the Most Valuable Player, Noel absolutely should jump to #1 in the National Player Rankings as soon they update them.

- Although we have seen neither in the 2013 National Rankings, Jaylen Brantley and Rene Castro are proving they are one of the premier backcourts in America.  Each should see the big-time offers roll in the rest of the summer.  Castro's line from today was 12 points - 4 rebounds - 7 assists - 0 turnovers.  Brantleys line was 17 points - 6 rebounds - 5 assists - 2 steals.

- Georges Niang - 18 points on 7-10 shooting from the floor.  Through 6 game at Peach Jam, Niang is shooting a ridiculous 40-59 from the floor, 68%.
