BABC Juniors Ready to Chase the Chip at Peach Jam

The Perpetual Black and Gold - Noel, Okonoboh, Selden, Niang, and Bull.
- Nike Peach Jam starts tomorrow and there is a contagious depression spreading on the Spaceship due to the fact that we cannot make it down there this year to take it in.  But rather than complain, the Spaceship will for the time being devote it's full energy and attention to Pool D, which, along with Pools A, B, and C, has six teams.

1. BABC - After finishing 14-1 in the EYBL, BABC comes in as the top-seeded team in the Pool.  The boys in black and gold will be Nerlens Noel, Jake Layman, Georges Niang, Goodluck Okonoboh, Wayne Selden, Dominique Bull, Rene Castro, Andrew Chrabascz, Jaylen Brantley, and Al Brodsky.

2. CIA Bounce - No, I am not telling the Central Intelligence Agency to "bounce"...I am telling you that CIA Bounce is the #2 seeded team in Pool D.  They are led by big-time stud PF Anthony Bennet and supposedly they have requested that Nike play the Canadian National Anthem before every Pool D game.

3. Mac Irvin Fire - Along with Meanstreets, MIF is one of two Chicago teams from in Pool D.  First off, these Windy City clubs have awesome names.  Secondly, it is kind of mad-dog that Chicago has two Nike programs within it's borders.  That must be interesting.  What else is interesting is that Jabari Parker and his crew is one of the youngest, most talented, and most dangerous at Peach Jam.

4. All-Iowa Attack - I wonder if Harrison Barnes will make the trip down from Chapel Hill to see his former AIA teammates go to work.  They have the top PG in the country in UNC-bound lefty Marcus Paige and another big-time guard in Mike Gessell.  They also have one of the hottest prospects in America in C Adam Woodbury.

5. Howard Pulley (MN) - Trivia: What American State has the highest number of boat-owning residents?

6.  Meanstreets - Ok, I'll admit it, I have a weakness for this club because the movie 'Meanstreets' is one of my favorite flicks of all-time and I secretly wish that more top AAU Programs were named after Robert Deniro movies.  On a more serious note, they are a dangerous basketball team that defeated MIF by seven in their regular season EYBL match-up.
