Terry Porter Elite Beat Playaz in Showcase Game

- With only one player in Deonte Burton with a national reputation, it is easy to raise an eyebrow when one sees Terry Porter Elite at #9 in the Five-Star Top 25.  Well, New England has quickly found out that this club is dead serious.  They just defeated the NE Playaz by a score of 54-49 in a game watched by John Calipari, Bob Huggins, and the red-hot Sean Miller.  TP Elite basically plays four guards at all times and they play a diamond-and-one press the whole game.  Simply put, these boys from Milwaukee are damn good and they play with ferocity.  More on them later, they play again tonight at 9pm in a 1st Rd. Bracket game against the Middlesex Magic.  Terry Porter's Squad definitely has to be one of the favorites to win it all.
